Britti sings “Georgia On My Mind” for Grammy ReImagined Series

The New Orleans singer appeared on GRAMMY ReImagined covering the famous Ray Charles’ rendition of "Georgia On My Mind."

She wrote, “WOW! Incredibly honored to announce that I received the opportunity to be apart of the Grammy Reimagined series! I took it waaaay back to 1960 when Ray Charles won the most widely known rendition of ‘Georgia On My Mind.’ I vividly remember sitting at my grandmother’s kitchen table as she introduced me to Ray’s ‘Modern Sounds In Country and Western Music Vol 1 and 2’ and being beautifully bewildered as a child, thinking …“Whoa black people can sing blues, soul, and country!? Yes, we can.”
